As great a player as BD was (probably my favourite ever in a Utd shirt), his management experience is extremely limited and delivered even more limited success. No UK experience of note, it would surely be an appointment based solely on Bladey Bladeness - I doubt he'd even make the long list at any other Champ (or even L1 or L2) club's recruitment.
For me the next manager needs to be highly experienced and able to stabilise the team, squad and club quickly. I don't think it's the time to roll the dice on an 'up & coming' manager, especially one that's not even coming from Champ or below.
