If Liverpool had gone unbeaten, Klopp would win. But now they’ve lost one. Still got Man City to play who will be out for blood. If they lose that and maybe another, they’ll still have had a phenomenal season, but a late season dip might take the shine off. If we finish top 6/7, get to the FA cup semi final/final, then Wilder will win it IMO.

Pretty sure whichever from Wilder or Klopp wins it, they’ll be fully endorsed by the other.

Somehow I don't think we've slashed out wage bill by £7m by signing a load of club record transfers and handing out some promotion bonuses.

It'll still be low in Premier League context.

Now Liverpool have been defeated in the league and knocked out of all cups, I don't see how Klopp is such a show in anymore.

Pep could still win League Cup, FA Cup and CL.

What if Wilder wins the FA Cup, finishes 5th and qualifies for CL?

Once you look at the resources being tipped top 2 and finishing 1st with nothing else doesn't seem all that compared with being tipped for the Championship and ending up in Europe.

As some have said below, it was £20m in the Championship so it’s going to be probably £35m-£40m this season.

That Chelsea kid had it right in that video, 'he's manager of the season regardless of what Liverpool do'.
And since then Liverpool have been knocked out of 2 cups. I still think a top 6 finish would be needed though and a couple of bad results and it can all drift away, that is how tight it is between 4th and 11th.
