How has Kevin Blackwell not got the MOTM, United were top of the form table for April with 4 wins and 1 draw from 5 games, points 13 and points average 2.6

However the award goes to a certain Mr Mowbray with 3 wins and 3 draws from 6 games, points 12 and points average 2.

West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Mowbray has been named as the Championship's manager of the month for April after guiding them to the title.

The Baggies were unbeaten in the league during April, winning three games and drawing three.

They then beat QPR in their final game, on 4 May, to secure the title.

The other contenders were Tony Pulis of Stoke (who also won promotion), Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock and Sheffield United boss Kevin Blackwell.

It was obvious he would win it since those 12 points secured West Broms promotion and not only that but helped them go up as Champions.

I dont think Blacky would of won the award even if we had made the play offs to be honest.
