Well I can't remember Blaskeys misleading us with a story about Kathy Kirbys Ruby red lips when they were trying to sell us a tin of gloss, but the paper was worth reading in those days.

Your colleagues "One player isn't happy" article which basically just quoted Sinclairs tweets and then filled it out with the Bleachers story which appeared elsewhere twodays before. Or are you going to claim it was a genuine news story for that day. At least there was no claim that " he told the Star" like in the Derby/Sharp article when a media release appeared to turn into a one on one conversation.

Interestingly Mr Holt does work on a Sunday though.

It was a release directly to me, Sean. Do you think they just contacted every paper in the country hoping they were interested?

24 hours, each one is followed by another one, and another one and so on. It is hardly the science of rockets. Presumably sub editors know how hours work, editors know the full workings of minutes, and when you have worked out seconds then you are truly a master of the journalistic craft and are fully aware of what Susan Boyle looks like after her diet (spoiler alert - skinnier).
