Quite clever. They got the front three to play more narrow, which drew Baldock and Stevens closer to the centre to maintain their distances from Bash and O`Connell. This gave them space out wide to exploit which they used very well. Could see future opposition trying that, although I`m sure CW/AK will be on to that now.

Agreed. Noticed the "overload' attempt on their right wing in the second half which was giving Fleck more distance to cover to get back in front of Enda and more time for them to take it wide. Seen another post elsewhere which suggests that Lundstram was struggling to get over on his side. Sort it Aht CWAK!

Whereas in the first half they looked like yet another side who tried to set up to match us and then got swiftly seen off...

As clever as their first half tactics were rubbish. Trying to match us in a system they rarely play (and one we've played for years). No wonder we battered them for 70 mins. But yeah, they destroyed us for 10 minutes (which hasnt happened so far this season) because they played James where he does damage and put Baldock under pressure.
