So the Mighty Blades are off to Malta again next week and play 2 games (18th and 20th July)

Apparently Blades fans can keep in touch with what's going on by emailing [email protected] - that should be a bloody short email then?

Here's the teaser - well it's more of a question really - but that didn't go as well with the title of the thread.

How many transfers in and out will take place before the Blades return from Malta?

My guessese are:
Out: Ched & Monty
In: no one.

Tumbleweed . . . .

Bllody Hell - Danny Has Let Himslef Go In Last 4 Weeks

Strueth - being Sheffield United Manager is really stressful.
This is from the official shite and it shows that Danny Wilson has really let himself go over the last few weeks since he took over the top job.
You hover over the picture and it tells you that Wilson is ready for his first friendly. Question is - Which one is Wilson?

Out - ched, monty, and maybe quinn

in - i think we will probably sign 2 players between now and their return and i think we have signed 6 in total by the time new season kicks off - the 6 in total includes philliskirk and the lad from swindon.

Im personally worried by our situation in the transfer market, our neighbours and especially charlton have made some shrewd signings so far - im having charlton to boss this division - theyve got a good strike force and the new cm's they have signed are top performers at this level.

I wasn't worried to begin with but the signs are ominous regards to transfer activity.

Presuming we can't offload the big earners prior to the end of the window, will we be relying on short term loans (again) until we can shift them on?

I don't think I could watch another year of half arsed loanees swanning around the pitch.

I can see the management thinkng that we are done once we get rid of a few of the high earners and that we have enough to compete in this division.
That would be a gross mistake if it is the case.
We are desparately short of any pace or creativity and we have no one who can score goals.
Equally we have a defense that is shakier than the employment prospect of a News of The World reporter.

It all bodes badly for the upcoming season - I reckon we will get sweet FA from any of the friendlies and we will get tonked by Donny and B'Pool, which will destroy any semblance of confidence left in the squad.

Hope I'm wrong but it feels ominously like we are in for another shambles of a season. We look like being short on pace, quality & numbers. Nothing is happening. We despeartely need to strenghthen but we appear to have put everything on hold in the desperate hope that someone will offer silly money for some of our higher earners - which seems unlikely because they simply aren't particularly good players. Get a grip McCabe ffs.

I think it will be a good season. Can't wait to see if Wilson can get us back to playing football.

Ched and Monty out, if not by malta not can't see them traveling and they will go whilst the rest of the lads are in Malta. Ins Probably none might just have Slew signed up by then.

Think huddersfld will be the team to go up. But wilson says he has to sell before he buys, because he said that Henderson going only eased the money slightly.
Don't think we will trouble the top of league only the middle, but still really hope I'am wrong.

Someone has been eating too many maltesers
