Thought I'd jump the queue and left in 85 mins, get to the railway and its choko with Sunderland! Nothing happened, they had a sung song n went but I dint get why syp would let them in there knowing blades were there too, respect to both sides for not being idiots but could have turned ugly

Maybe SYP wanted it to get " naughty " ? Banning orders at the Lane are only the 2nd highest in South Yorkshire you know o_O

So that's why the police van was parked at right angles across the door right outside The Railway after the game

Do you leave the cinema 5 minutes before the end of the film?

I’ve never understood this ‘miss the traffic’ nonsense.

If any fan of either club could get worked up about that game / one sided training sesssion, enough to cause agro between each other then they should take a long hard look at themselves.

However Although being firmly opposed to football violence it would have been entirely justifiable if a few Sunderland fans had Twatted a few of their own players at full time.

Birmingham came in railway as well, we had a chat with them about the game... seems they’re allowing away fans in these days... love talking to other fans and hearing their opinion on us....

He needed a gargle, five minutes is important when your hands start to shake, and liliputian figures start coming out of the walls.

To be fair you would need to keep the alcohol level topped up if following Sunderland just now, there is a reason they went 364 day between home wins.
Thinking about it maybe the Sunderland players were in the Railway before the game.

I think if you leave the game almost 10 minutes before the end, when we are playing well and winning 3-0, just to get to the bar quicker, you deserve any misfortune that befalls you tbh.

Is your beer really so important that you can't wait until the end of the game? How about staying and supporting the boys and showing your appreciation for a very good performance?

I used to say the same until I ended up in casualty with broken ribs and internal bleeding.

Now i always stop, look and listen, before I cross the road.

It's the Tufty code you know.

I remember my first day as a program seller, 15 year old lad stood outside the garage on Bramall Lane. 78/79 season I think and think it was Anglo Scottish cup match v Sunderland. Saw about 30 to 40 people wearing red black and white scarfs coming towards me early on and no coppers or anyone else about really. Turned out to be Sunderland fans and the bar stewards nicked every one of my programs. Had to go back to the office with my tail between my legs. They put me inside the John Street Stand after that where everyone already has a program on entry so sold sod all for the rest of the season. Thanks Sunderland fans!
