The biggest mistake we made when last relegated from the Prem was letting Warnock go. Love him or hate him, he was the best man to get us back.
I’m 100% behind our management team. Should we not stay up, they are by a million miles the best team to get us straight back.

At this point all I want is for wilder revolution to continue into the prem league. If it is obvious we are not up to it I would prefer to give the fullest opportunity possible to this squad and manager. No change in manager with 10 games to go or spunking senseless money like Fulham. Having said that bottom line is that I support Sheffield united FC not Chris Wilder FC so if in a year or two we can go on to be achieving like wolves in the prem without Wilder I would take that. Like all managers he will put Chris Wilder first and though he has done absolutely brilliantly and deserves rock solid support in difficult times more than anything I want success for SUFC and its supporters.

We didn’t ‘let him go’. We showed him the door. Twelve months too late.

Even if we finish rock bottom I'll still back Wilder and the lads. However, I think we will do OK, we might not stay up but we will defo put up a fight. With quality additions in key areas (Attacking mid/Striker) I think we would have a decent chance.

I'd back Wilder to get us straight back up even if we did get relegated. He really has the chance here to build a lasting legacy at the club if he can get us established in the top flight.

100% this ^^^^

Just to add though, you don't suddenly become a bad manager overnight, so if we are struggling, I hope the board (whoever that may be!) backs Chris and his team. I think there's a lot of guff talked about 'not having the experience at that level' - utter tosh. Chris' experience is things like motivating players when they haven't been paid, real problems to solve.

It's not as if he can be accused of having an outdated style of play or one that wouldn't work at a higher level. Chris will know that he and the team need to evolve, just like they have during this season to make us more solid at the back. He's also shown he can adapt during games, sometimes it hasn't always worked out but you can't accuse him of being scared to change things if he thinks it's not going right.

I’m more than happy for the established Premier League teams fan base, to think we are punching above our weight. I wouldn’t even enter into debate with the fucking lemmings, I am however, confident that they will all have a different opinion this time next year.
This whole football punditry industry makes me laugh, they no more idea about what’s going to happen, success or failure than any of us. It’s just another means of exploiting football for financial gain, anyone who holds any store by what they say or listens to their incessant bullshit, seriously needs to get a life

Anyone offering odds on the first 'taken us as far as he can'?

He's bound to have taken us as far as he can one day, but that won't be his fault. There's a limit that any club can achieve unless they're Man City, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, Man Utd, Bayern or PSG

Just compete at premier League level and win a couple of cups and United fans will be happy, this is what we should have been doing for the last 50 years
