Just somet to look back on.

It's all happy now but if we start getting tonked every week, people might start to turn on the players and some idiots might even turn on Wilder.

Personally I don't give a shit how many we win or lose, I'm backing Wilder and the players all the way.

this is the sort of post that wants to do away with constructive criticism.

Wilson and Hussey immediately spring to mind.

Ouch! Dagger to the heart with that post. Expunged from memory until you brought it back.

I think you'll find that the morons who will kick up a fuss if we're losing most weeks are the same ones who say they won't.
And when I say kick up a fuss of course I'm talking about more than just sensible criticism.

Wilder does make mistakes but I hope people don’t jump on him if we look out of our depth in the premiership. If he can’t do it, no one can.

What kind of fucking stupid post is this?

I agree, it's bad enough that Premier League boards are full of belittling and patronising reports from fans of other clubs about us, but nobody quite does it better than our own doubting Thomas's.
I seem to be one of the few that actually believes we are every bit a Premier League club, especially when you look at what's up there.

Nobody would bat an eyelid about Derby, Forest, Birmingham, Villa, Leeds, Wendy, Bristol City, West Brom, Middlesboro, Stoke, Reading, Swansea, Hull, Ipswich, Blackburn, Wigan or Bolton going up, Nobody bats an eyelid that Norwich have gone up.

Nobody would bat an eyelid if Portsmouth, Charlton or Sunderland went on a similar run to us and went up to the Premier League.

But us going up brings the typical bullshit from certain Nigels that have recently latched themselves onto a top Premier league club because it's suddenly got more exciting than crown green fucking bowls and now they think they know everything.

I've had a look on a number of Premier League fans boards and it's amazing how much bullshit there is about our agricultural, functional, direct, long ball style that offers nothing to the Premier League, and this in spite of them saying they've watched us many times on TV.

This is why I hope Wilder really carries on taking the game to the smarmy twats

Think that on occasions we might just upset the (PL) apple cart :p

I'd follow Wilder and Knill into a fucking warzone, so I guess I will be sticking with them regardless of what happens when we play football.

Not won a single prem game. Fuck him off and get pie belly back quick.

You’re not wrong, but social media is the home of self important experts in hindsight. And I genuinely think that noise can undermine the sort of spirit achieved in pre-internet days. Only Wilder’s phenomenal success and honesty has kept the noise at bay.

There are as many people who slated Wilder’s attacking substitutions last year as slated his more conservative substitutions this year. They can’t all be right, and even when they have a point, the margins in making these calls are incredibly fine. And all this culminates in the “we’ve the bottled” it nonsense that was patently untrue, disrespectful and even harmful.

Next season we are going to be made to look daft quite a lot. It’s inevitable given the world’s best footballers are taking on our team. In those circumstances I’ve no issue with us circling the wagons a bit. A bit of self restraint will be in order for some.

Agreed. There is no happy medium and your key word is restraint which most on here can handle, but some are on the negative at 5.30pm.

The mods may be pressing the infraction button a tad more come next September. ;)

Chris Wilder is never late.

Nor is he early.

He arrives precisely when he means to.

As I keep telling piggies, anything better than relegation is good for a pub team like us. Even if we do get relegated I'd back Wilder to take us back up.

After 3 years of success people still underestimate Wilder....scoff if it makes you happy but it’s mid-table finish for me.
