It's his 10th and he misses Swindon and Brentford. Safe for Wembley (providing he isn't sent off just before !)

Good job Harry

gets booked in the 94th minute - planned just as United did with Morgs a number of years ago.

Lets hope Hill is fit to come in at centre half - does a better job than at full back.

UTB

What did he do? Say a naughty word or something?

That's not good....
I know play offs isn't realistic, and even if we do make them, not necessarily a good idea, but.......it's all less likely with Harry out.

At least he will be available for Wembley - the preferred option of all of us I think. Play-offs possible but very difficult to achieve over what is it, 8 matches left and 7 points behind Peterborough?

FA Cup final one (winnable) game away.

Good move IMHO

Poor move. If he'd got booked in the Brentford game I think there is more chance of beating Orient and Rovrum with Hill rather than Swindon and Brentford without Maguire.

Still Hill could be an adequate replacement...... providing he warms up first!

BBC stats for us have him on 9 bookings in all comps.

Maybe it's just me, but I can't really see why we should be cheering a player for cynically gaming the system like this?

It's like owt in football really. Is it right a team should hold the ball in the corner when they're 1-0 up, or the keeper takes an extra few seconds on a goal kick in injury time. It's playing the game to your own advantage, if you were in Harry's shoes you'd certainly do everything to avoid missing Wembley! Watch him get a straight Red against Rotherham now...

Problem now is who to play alongside Collins ..isn't Hill injured...or if Harris is fit we could switch Freeman to Right Back and play Brayford at Centre Back as he's played there before for previous clubs.

Given Kennedy and Collins did well together against Peterborough, if Kennedy is fit again he'll presumably come back in if Hill's injured.

Or potentially a loan - Cloughie is discussing it with the staff on the coach back up.

He won't know until Friday if Hill or Harris are fit. They could play someone else within the squad and shuffle (eg Bray or Freeman).

I'm assuming Kennedy probably is injured as he wasn't mentioned.

I didn't get the impression he was keen on another loan if it could be avoided.

Wasn't there last night but the RS commentary said it was a poor decision to book him and that the players complained to the ref about it. I'm not sure that this was the plan. Would've been much better for him to play the next two and, if he hadn't picked up a yellow in either, 'rest' him v Orient and Rotherham. We were in a good position to manage the situation.

harry could do with the rest. i heard Kennedy did well against peterborough so no problem. it will do him good

I think we should get in a loan signing at CB just incase Hill/Kennedy get injured.

Surely someone fancies joining us for a month & possibly getting a day out at Wembley?

A loan is being looked at since ALL options there seem to be injured. Clough on RS.

Let's be honest most players will be cup tied so doubt anyone who comes in will get the day out.

With the run of games surely there is no right game to get booked, but getting booked last night gives us enough space between now and Wembley and he can play 100% committed against Orient and Rotherham without fearing a booking.

Not sure we should assume that Harry got his booking on purpose. He is a brilliant young player but he is a yellow card waiting to happen in most matches because of all the tips he has picked up from his elders, like shifting the ball behind the ref's back, arguing with every decision etc etc. Never good to see a promising lad adopt such an attitude and he is not the worst by any means but he does tread a fine line.

I didn't really see it. I was too busy taking the piss out of the opposition goalkeeper.

No idea if it was deliberate or not, it was more a comment on the people who are cheering him for what they believe to be him purposefully getting a booking.

I don't blame Harry, I blame a system which is based on dates which penalises players for acually playing.

Harry hsalready played 44 games this season. Thats less than one booking every 4 games.

But he now gets the same ban, at the same time as a play who has played 15 times and picked up 10 bookings.

Stupid system...

Vidic might be interested in coming on loan cos its the only time hes going to get to wembley before he jets off to inter:p:p:p:p

Unless he said something, he was booked for time-wasting by not fetching the ball for our free kick. The ref fetched and spotted the ball. While he was being booked, we waited for a substitution - wasn't really a booking, but was a convenient one.
