Tried to sell it for a couple of years. In the middle of nowhere, on the edge of Fewston, I believe, reservoir. Once his kids got into their teens, it became a pain having to drive them everywhere. I presume once they started to drive/went to Uni, it wasn't such a problem.

I think you're right, Northyorksblade. And following on from what S4Blade says, I've seen Southgate and family idling around Valley Gardens in Harrogate on a Sunday afternoon more than once.

Mind you, that isn't quite in the same league as seeing Deano knocking around Harrogate of a weekend. And the great man still looks like he could do a job up front; looks as fit now as he did in his pomp.
