Yeah but he's got a tattoo of a Womble on his leg!I love Gagey's tweets. He's proper into the Blades!

Tomsk, Madame Cholet, Orinoco, Uncle Bulgaria, Bungo, Tobermory, Wellington? c'mon I have to know now.
His kids are both Blades too. Great to see players from outside the City become so taken by the club.
I reckon most of the squad from 1989 - 1994 that played more than 50 games for the club will have a big soft spot for us still given how well we did then and how the club was, well very United! Its similar to now but Gagey definitely has a particular love affair with United! I used to like him as a player although he wasn't a stand out but consistent. Of that time other than the obvious choices like Bob Booker, Deane and Agana etc, I used to really like Franz Carr. He was the first player I'd seen in a United shirt that really excited me regularly with his direct style and wing play. Sadly Harry sold him when we got relegated, maybe he wanted out I don't know.
I was only really young during this era but looking back at the programmes of shows Carr was in and out of the team throughout his Blades career. He start 12 or so games in a row then totally disappear from the squad only to come back in again
Did anyone hear the players singing Jack O Connells magic at the training ground last Saturday? Could be heard in background when Wilder was giving the "we are champions" interview
Aye me too, I was 13/14 during Franz's time but he was really quality on his day although ultra inconsistent! He would take on his man, then wait for the full back to get goal side again before taking him on again and then the final ball would end up in the Kop! I guess David Cotterill would be a near comparison of more recent times. I've always loved a winger but the current system whilst amazing doesn't lead to exciting wing play for obvious reasons! Maybe Marcus Maddison in the hole would lead to more dribbling. Not complaining though, we've been spoilt this season.

He lived in the Moat house at Meadowhead ,don't think he ever even got a house up here ,but I used to see him in the gym a lot ,a long with Paul Rogers, Hans Segers and bizzarley Michael Bolton once ,Carr was a very nice intelligent quiet guy and a great player to watch.I reckon most of the squad from 1989 - 1994 that played more than 50 games for the club will have a big soft spot for us still given how well we did then and how the club was, well very United! I’d say he was more like JCR and Febian Brandy but capable of producing a special end product once in a while (goals v Spurs and Ipswich spring to mind). But his quick feet, tricks and pace reminds me of the way those two ran at defenders.

I think we are the only team in our league who have players who are comfortable enough on the ball to run at players ,its all pass pass pass these , I hope we carry this on as defenders hate it and its a joy to watch.
Who is Michael Bolton?
Never heard of him or seen a photo of himThe correct question is what is Michael Bolton. Singing equivalent to a sharp stone in your shoe, extremely irritating bordering on the painful. Here's the pillock in his prime, nuff said!
