If still bad and you are further up M40 you can get off at Banbury (J11) and use A4260 Road to Oxford

Not signposted from motorway so set sat nav / head for adderbury or deddington or kidlington all on 4260 and then just keep going until you hit A34

Looking at the AA travel website it describes an 'earlier accident' so hopefully should start to clear soon.

also bear in mind there appears to be an accident on the A34 into Oxford however it's on the northbound side so hopefully shouldn't affect anyone travelling down.

Safe journey Blades

Got stuck in it too... Here now, deciding on where to leave car

Any Blades not travelling anywhere and sitting by the radio - sing up will ya? I want to hear you from my back garden, where there are no traffic jams or recovery vehicles ;), but there is a stiff wind and a barbecue which needs rebuilding before the summer

I had to stop reading at 'stiff' for health reasons, sj.

Another one is...If you're at Junction 9..take the A430 through Middleton Stoney...all the way towards Western on the Green..then hang a left to get over A34 following Oxford/Newbury signs...it misses out the M40.

Here now in spoons in Cowley. Parking on St. Nicholas Edwards on Littlemore estate. Walk under railway bridge to ground.

Good luck to all traveling blades, will be listening on radio at work, there in spirit, let's have 3 points and safe trip home :)
