Lunny

He has 12 months left on his contract so we don't have to 'show him the door'.

If we can't get a decent fee for him in the close season that allows us to replace him it could benefit us to have him around next season, giving his all for us, whilst in the shop window and trying to earn a lucrative move away for the following season? That way we get the best from him for another season and take another £100m of Sky money for staying in the Prem.

Another season of assured Prem football may well propel us into different player markets and player incentives.

I understand what you’re saying Zep but he just looks selfish on the pitch at the minute. Don’t think we need that vibe in the club. That’s what I’m getting at

I could’ve put my bottom dollar on someone coming on here and going... “but he scored”
He also sprinted 60 yards to be in position for his second chance. Not the action os someone who doesn’t care.
When he scored his body language indicated he was not over happy though.

Think you need to watch it again, as soon as he scores he celebrates like you’d expect but then he starts to hold his shoulder which was obviously giving him a lot of pain.

There were discussions between Lundstram and the bench throughout the first half about his shoulder and he went off at half time clearly in a lot of discomfort, I don’t know why they didn’t just change it.
Look at his face initially before any team mates arrived to aggravate his shoulder.

It would be interesting to compare lunnys season to flecks season It would be very even between the two yet one is loved and one derided. I would be gutted to see lunny go he is a good Premier league midfielder. (He has been better than Sander who was at fault again for the first goal I think that's 3 goals that spring to mind that he has cost us) if lunny wants to go then he can but I would push the boat out to keep him (only so far mind!)

Sloppy... but..

Scored our goal.

Created the best chance of the game for Sharp.

Was only only denied a second goal from an amazing save.

That’s my point, I can’t tell if you’re agreeing with me. His initial reaction was very much happy that he’d scored.

He looked slow tracking back against midfielders who go slow then quickly explode into fast moving midfield passing movements. He got in great positions going forward and his sprint for his goal was memorable. Wanted to impress others watching in my opinion.
