Worst player on the pitch today. There’s clearly something not right mentally with him. Bare minimum, no tracking back, refusing to put the ball in, not much in the way of a tackle.
Let’s face it... he’s been good for about 5% of his Sheff U career. We picked him up from f’ing Oxford! He was going nowhere and now refuses to put pen to paper. It’s time to say thanks for the memories and good luck with your future endeavours... don’t let the door it your arse on the way out!

One good pass and good positioning for his goals and chances. But after that pretty hopeless like most of the team TBH. Lets hope we have a improved squad come the start of the new season.

Scored, almost had a second but for a fantastic save, put Billy in for a sitter... but aside from that...

It's called money. That's his issue. Get him binned off. Not here for the cause. He's here for the wonga.

Mustn't forget his huge contribution in the first months of the season. He was tremendous. May well be relaced by Swift next season, though. His passing and general form has been an embarrassment since the Covid break. Don't care if he goes or stays tbh.

He wasn't as bad a Zivkovic, though. I could have done better at 53 y/o. Fuck off back to China. Embarrassing effort today to say he's trying to earn a contract!

Come on Chris, get some new blood in.

I could’ve put my bottom dollar on someone coming on here and going... “but he scored”

Well, goalscoring is a pretty key component of football games.

Apparently anyway. Could be wrong...

Even Lineker, who was nothing more than a goal poacher, put more effort into a game than Lord Lundstram did today.
He must have frustrated you today surely? Unless of course you’re happy for a member of our Midfield 3 to do bugger all for 90mins so long as he scores?
It is a key component of the game after all. Unlike tracking back, tackling, moving the ball forward... all insignificant components of the game I assume?

On his day he is a very good player, and he scored one and nearly scored another today. That said, he wasn't involved at all and a few of our midfield today was powder puff, Lundy included.

Tbh, I hope we move him on in the pre season. He has been playing for the last few months as if he has been sulking.

He wants more money that's his problem

He”s been offered a huge pay rise putting him on a par with our squad players.

However he wants to be one of the big earners at the club. Suspect his agent wants to strike whilst the iron is hit and has advised him he can get much more at a club like West Ham. I’m still unsure of Lunnys standard. Remember last season he struggled at Championship level.

Fleck was worse, but yes he was poor. Midfield was Berge stick until his batteries went.

So 3 moments over a 90 minute game?

You need to do a lot more than that or you might as well not be in the pitch. He didn’t put in a tackle.

I think we should thank him, wish him well in finding a club willing to pay him more and show him the door. He doesnt merit being a top earner in my opinion, hes had half a good season. I genuinely can't see any other premier club giving him more game time or even signing him. Hes been badly adviced.

Disagree. If we had more players that could deliver 3 big moments per 90 in the final third then we'd be a lot better off.

Say what you like about Lundstram's all round play but he's one of our few players that doesn't get a nose bleed in front of goal and takes positive actions in the final third.

He’s great in the final third, but he’s been a passenger in the other two since December. It’s not good enough.

He’s playing with an injury and if Sharp had scored in the first half he would’ve had a goal and assist.

Across the midfield 3, Berge played well whilst we did for the opening 30 mins or so. Then faded badly, but so did the entire team.

Lundstrum, aside from goal and missed chance, was rotten. Looked disinterested and furious to have scored.

Fleck however was worse today! Looked about 25 yards off the pace.

For next season in my book:

DMC - Berge / Norwood
RCM - New starter (Swift?) / New back-up
LCM - Fleck / New backup (or replacement?) / Osborn

The RCM is key, we need that creative spark as well as goal threat through forward runs into the box.

He has 12 months left on his contract so we don't have to 'show him the door'.

If we can't get a decent fee for him in the close season that allows us to replace him it could benefit us to have him around next season, giving his all for us, whilst in the shop window and trying to earn a lucrative move away for the following season? That way we get the best from him for another season and take another £100m of Sky money for staying in the Prem.

Another season of assured Prem football may well propel us into different player markets and player incentives.

Think you need to watch it again, as soon as he scores he celebrates like you’d expect but then he starts to hold his shoulder which was obviously giving him a lot of pain.

There were discussions between Lundstram and the bench throughout the first half about his shoulder and he went off at half time clearly in a lot of discomfort, I don’t know why they didn’t just change it.

Big decisions imminent for CW - he's been a superb manager for 4 seasons but this close-season is his biggest challenge yet.
Whilst the players go + rest , CW will be trying to put next term's squad together.

They had a spare but couldn't find a surgeon in the ground to do the transplant.

Fair enough, didn't watch too closely.

General point stands that he's disinterested, believes his own hype and can be easily replaced

I disagree, I don’t think he’s the sort of player to be disinterested. I think his shoulder injury (which was supposed to keep him out for the rest of the season don’t forget) is having more of an effect on his game than people realise.

Can you honestly tell me he looked more disinterested than Fleck today? Or Stevens? I’ve only just remembered that Stevens was on the pitch
