The issue lies with the whole midfield tbh and its berge as well they are being lazy.

Their off the ball movement when we are in possession is very poor they should be moving constantly into positions to offer our defenders and attackers and other midfielders a passing option but they just stand static behind opposition players the majority of the match.

See it all the time a player just stands in the passing line between 2 players and the off the ball player stands there like a statue instead of moving its really pissing me off now tbh.

How are we meant to build up an attack when our players have to constantly pass backwards or hoof it long because there's no one to pass to

I think Lunny has been our best midfielder this season. That says it all really. Come to think of it Mcburnie and Burke have probably been our most effective front pairing. This makes me sad.

Fleck and Berge have never played well together, Berge has never looked that great in Norwood's spot either, but although I'm fine with dropping Berge and would happily drive Ampadu back to Chelsea, I'm not sure Norwood or Fleck have done anything to deserve a place either, leaving a half-arsed Lundstram as our only credible midfield option.

Maybe its time to dig up Rodwell, if we can give jags and Bryan a go, why not

He always been a tick slow but has made up for it with speed of thought for whatever reason that seems to have deserted him so far this year he needs to reset.

Fleck and Norwood have turned into Sunday league players and Lunny is desperate to bail.

That said, all other midfield options are poor at the mo too. Maybe forget midfield, play two more up front and one more in defence.

His performances have been the most consistent of any midfielder since January. Wilder played silly beggars with his contract and got what he wanted. We haven't offered Lundstram what he wants, be it money or a guaranteed first team spot so he's leaving at the end of his contract. He owes us nothing GLTTL
