he was ineffective to say the least. and his fitness Isn’t a patch on last season, his heads gone so until he’s committed then he shouldn’t be in the team.

Lundstram is one of the few players we have got who when on his game plays forward looks like scoring and can finish. Getting shut of him will diminish our goal threat to incredibly low levels. People need to wake up that he might actually be worth paying as a first team regular. We should be keeping our best players like him to get stronger not weaker

To make it clear I'm not blaming the loss entirely on lunny but he clearly doesn't want to be here for me. And his performance showed that .
The lads scored goals and done well for us in spells but he isn't what we need and he's absolutely NOT a regular premier League player .
sell him while we can because the blokes just not it for me
Sell him ?
Sorry pal , there's no buyers
Free transfer maybe.
Get rid anyway.

I respect your opinion, but I can't agree with any that. From what I saw tonight and following on from the end of last season, he's far off the required standard in my opinion.

I'm of the view that that should be has last PL start for us, league sub and cup starter - yes, get him to a 100 goals. But how we've signed him up for a further 2 seasons on decent money is beyond me.

If we don't get someone mobile & competent in the window who can partner McB, and cause a proper threat and we put all our eggs in a Moose & Sharp shaped basket, then we'll properly have our bollocks out.
I’m not talking long term. I’m only talking what I saw tonight and I saw a player working hard for team as an outlet.

I agree that there are other players that should be starting ahead of Billy when they’re fit and firing.

Billy was a positive tonight and he wasn’t the reason we lost, younger, fitter, more valuable players can take that one on the chin

Thoroughly professional as always tonight. Bad first half but not through effort. Not the worst player In The White (and a bit of red shirts)

Norwood probably had his worst game I’ve seen for us. He still dictated our play, after 30 mins but I didn’t think he was anywhere near as effective.

baldock, Stevens, JOC all looked like they wanted to be somewhere else in that first 30.

Fleck was hit and miss

Egan was always 1 wrong move away from walking.

Positives
  • Bash
  • Billy
  • McBurnie
  • Berge
  • Rammers distribution was way better than Hendos
Sorry , but Mcburnies first touch is like one of David Beckhams free kicks.

Can someone tell Norwood that he's dropping deep to creatively distrubute the ball not knock it ten yards to a defender so they have to then hoof it forwards. Theres no point him going deep to do that 9 times out of 10. He also needs to learn that he can look to carve out a shooting chance for himself. His first instinct to to look sideways, look forward pal that big white metal thing is a goal.As for lunny, he isnt crap but my god he blows hot and cold. What was he trying in the first half when he got the ball in the box and just hoofed it over his head?
