Lundstrum bad apple

He did ok, didn't think he looked like he didn't want to be there. I was disappointed to see him start, wanted Berge to start, but as with McGoldrick, today came to soon for them it seems and that was one of the reasons we lost, but Norwood had a stinker, Fleck not much better, Lunny arguably the best of a bad bunch - not including Berge off the bench who looked good.

We do need another in the midfield for me, unless Lunny is to stay because I think we could do with someone who wants to stay and give competition.

Made a mistake when he dived in 1st half. Other than that had an excellent game. Some excellent crosses 2nd half and good interplay.

Played well enough to get himself a transfer.

He played better in the second half than he did the first. I will give him that.

Lundstram, like McGoldrick, Sharp and Norwood should be looking at the quality of their crossing. Poor.

Did not think he was too bad 2nd half, but first goal was his fault stupidly diving in, at least take the player out.

But I thought both wingbacks, Mcgoldrick, & Norwood looked way off the pace, particularly 1st half.

Excellent 🤣

And as for that second bit... We can but hope

Crossing was abysmal, can't recall more than one or two decent balls in. Corners especially bad. People will criticse McBurnie and Sharp but both did ok for me with so little service. Berge put one of the decent balls in, was gutted to see him not start.

The injuries and/or lack of match fitness really cost us in terms of selection because if everyone was match ft Berge and McGoldrick would have started and we'd have looked a better team.

They all picked their game up in the second half, against a very good Wolves side. That is no berometer of how ready of not we are. No need to be calling individual players out. He was sharp at times, woeful at others.

Lundstrum is being made the scapegoat. Yes, his challenge for the first goal was poor, but it's not his fault we dont appear to have signed a first team starter, improved on McG as our creative 'force' or added a centre forward to improve on Billy. Norwood was poor and Fleck did nothing bar hit the post (and both were awful at corners, yet again)/

Get him out of the club now what an abject performance and clearly doesn't want to be here
Tin hat firmly in place
Thoroughly professional as always tonight. Bad first half but not through effort. Not the worst player In The White (and a bit of red shirts)

Norwood probably had his worst game I’ve seen for us. He still dictated our play, after 30 mins but I didn’t think he was anywhere near as effective.

baldock, Stevens, JOC all looked like they wanted to be somewhere else in that first 30.

Fleck was hit and miss

Egan was always 1 wrong move away from walking.

Positives
  • Bash
  • Billy
  • McBurnie
  • Berge
  • Rammers distribution was way better than Hendos

He was very poor first half. Thought he did better in the second. Near the end he gave the ball away and to his credit he busted a gut to get back.

I think it's out of order to accuse him of not trying.

I'd want to leave a club that I've played for for 2-3 years and whose fans can't spell my name ffs

I disagree. There was only one good cross from him and the rest along with his corners were poor.
Diving in for the first goal is inexcusable at this level.
In fairness he did seem to be trying but just ineffective.

Billy was a positive?

Well I thought he was ok??
Better than the 2 forrads!

He’d not get back in Oxford’s midfield the way he’s playing so we’ll really struggle to shift him.
