Is all he had to do was keep his head down over the ball snd the keeper would of have to make a save

Lungstum should not be in the first team he does not want to sign a contract that has been offered.missed a bleeding good chance v man city.or did he miss on purpose. make you wonder.put him in the u23 squad until he buggers off in January.

What was the offer a bag of pork scratchings and a furry Werthers Original from down the back of the sofa?

On these displays he's putting in, who will have him? He looks so half hearted. Only team I can see him getting in is ours.

They were chatting about Lundstram on Talksport last night saying how he’s a top player for us and will have interest from plenty of PL clubs.

They said the strong rumour in London is that West Ham are front runners.
Apparently Moyes knew Lunny at Everton and rates him very highly.

They explained that as he’s a free transfer then giving him £60K a week would be a bargain.

Exactly this Moyes does rate him and if they lose rice in January they have a cheap replacement. I have no idea who we can find to replace his drive and energy and physicality for 20k a week who will fit our system.

I have always rated Lundstram as a player. He didn't feature much in the Championship, I'm not really sure why but I did say before last season, that I thought he would do well in the PL. Wilder gave him his chance in the PL, I'm not sure he would have got that chance without him. I am therefore disappointed at the way Lundstram has behaved. We don't know the details of his offer or other player's contracts but his failure to sign smacks of twattishness on his part. Couple that with his somewhat recent uninspired performances and he can leave for me. However, as some have said, replacing him for the same money might be very hard.

It’s not an opinion shared by all but I think Lundstrum alongside Berge have been our most effective central midfield pairing so far. Lundstrum has missed chances (he probably should have 3 or 4 league goals already) but at least he’s getting in the positions, which nobody else is currently doing. For all his work rate and effort, IMO, Osborn is not quite good enough to hold down a central midfield position.

Can we swap him for Bowen?

There are players who can do that roll better than him it's a matter of scouting.
Not criticising Lunnie as he does give it his best shot (Wilder wouldnt bring him on if not ) he came from Oxford dont forget and has done well but I'm sure we can do better.
The entire team including Lunnie has a confidence problem Wilder is failing to get the best from the group for the 1st time.
It's as much down to him now to lift them up, which is a tall order playing against teams who are better technically with no 12th man ( fans). No doubting this is having a big effect especially in home games.
We are certainly dogged with bad luck historically! each time we reach the promised land something beyond our control happens,if it's not match fixing when Bassett was at the helm ! The Tevez affair (Warnock ) to present Covid.
I'm not superstitious or religious but things have always gone tits up .
Ever since we tossed out cricket nearly 50 years ago event seem to go against us.
Can we break the chain this season,Wilder will hopefully be conferring with his mate Dave Bassett ,he knows a thing or two about these situations.

According to Wilder the contract offer would put him in the top “4 or 5” earners at the club.

Everybody slagging lunny for not signing a contract for say 20k a week when him and his agent have obviously been sounded out that there's an offer of say 60k a week need give yourselves a shake. If the chance to treble your wages came along at a more established company than the one your at youd be off an anybody who says otherwise is bullshitting. Yes he's performances have been crap but whos haven't except Berge an Bash, I personally couldn't care less if he won't sign cos apart from 3 months of last season he's been wank never ever rated him anyway.

Big assumption there maybe there is an offer, this time.

Hope so

The worrying thing about this long drawn out saga is it was the same agent who looked after Mark Duffy's interests and isn't it the same agent for Rhian Brewster ?
