He will finish 1st or 2nd next season in a league consisting of 12 teams where only 2 teams have won the title in the last 36 years. After Rangers left the league, the closest anybody got to Celtic was 9pts - Motherwell in 2018.
Rangers and Celtic are big in that they are the only 2 clubs that can compete in an entire country. Since Rangers were liquidated, the English Premier League has had 5 different champions.

They took 100,000 fans to Manchester for the UEFA Cup final. Not often I'll say it but FM has got this one right - Rangers are huge.

Looking at his new club shirt, Rangers have certainly "Set their limits" with that signing.
Great move for him, no doubt, but what a waste of time he is in footballing terms.
Just really glad from a Blades point of view that he got an offer and didn't sign the contract put in front of him to stay.

Never been one of the biggest in the World only in the minds of Rangers fans. How many Champions League or European Cups have they won - answer none. Not in top 20 or even 30. No one would begrudge Lundstram his opportunity if he had not downed tools last season fearing injury ruining his move. At least Lyle Taylor was honest enough to admit to Charlton fans he wasn't going to play their last few games to avoid injury. Lundstram continued to pick up appearance bonuses displaying a lack of interest and effort whilst wearing the red and white stripes, that is what Blades can not forgive.
What we can thank him for is his final abject appearance in our worst display of the season when he came off the bench against Palace at Home and gifted them their second goal. That was the final straw for the Prince and he got on the phone after the game and instructed his people to contact Slav.
The good work he did in his 12 glory games out of a total of 108 appearances has been a poor return for the somewhat misguided loyalty shown to him by the previous management team.

My "In the know" reckons the contract improvement we offered Lunny (that he turned down) would have made him either 3rd or 4th best paid player at the club. So it seems it was generous. Glad he turned it down if it was that much.

You can't base their size based on their fanbase. Norwich have filled their stadium for years because there's literally no other team to support down there. If you want to see an SPL League title, unless you're in your 40s, you have to support Celtic or Rangers

The majority of opposition he will face next season is around English League one standard so he should fit in well.
That pic makes me feel physically sick.
His lack of effort and respect for us fans last year has made him one of my least favourite Blades players of all time. Topped off by the fact he has signed for the Huns.
I'm not normally like this, but I only hope for bad things for him.

Like most, I expect, I was scratching my head wondering what the hell the pundits saw in him thereafter and it's not often that a player gets to cash in like he's been able to.
Had he gone to any team expected to be in the top half of the Championship, let alone - God forbid - another EPL side, the reality would have been exposed for what it is. Scotland is the perfect place for him to squeeze out another season or two living high on the hog. His agent is a genius.

This isn’t a money thing he just didn’t want to be here. That much was blindingly obvious from his performance levels post Berge. Something happened in or around January and he well and truly took his ball home after which point the fans did too. It’s a very acrimonious parting because neither side really like each other.
Thankfully he really isn’t that much of a loss and him leaving in no way disrupts our plans for this season. I hope he stays at rangers for a decade and I don’t ever have to watch him at the lane again.
