I'm genuinely intrigued to see what Lundstram's celebration will be like when he scores against us in the future.

When do you think we'll next be playing Fleetwood?

I just don't get why he's still here. Chris moans about us not getting Lingard but he could have done something simple like offering Lundstram, who was shit well before January, out on loan if a full transfer was not available and borrowing Besic again, who isn't in the squad for Everton.

Play Osborn, who seems a really good egg. Play Bogle. Play Ampadu. Play anyone but him.

I owe you a massive apology mate...I stuck up for him believing he would come good and trusted Wilder on the back of last season and he has been fucking woeful epitomised by today’s performance. He is so desperate to finish the season uninjured that he is a fucking waste of a shirt. No one feels more of a tit Than I do
Fair play, still surprised they will be lunny fans about but there is.

Season after next 🤭

Agree with your post. Can't defend Lunny anymore. Good player when he wants to be, terrible attitude for a footballer.

plenty on here have defended him all season but he was no different today than the first game of the season and every game since utter waste of space he would have been great for the old arsenal offside trap all he seems to do is wave his arm in the air for somebody else to do his job

I would love to meet him at the Mucky Duck for a beer. Then I could happily knee him in the bollocks. UTB

Cannot wait to see the back of him. Shit show of a player and an attitude to match

I defended him a few weeks ago as he still looked to be trying. He’s been worse than dogshit since. The effort is long gone. I wouldn’t play him in another game.
With you here. Didn’t think he’d been any worse than anyone else up until Jan. But this past month or so, he really has been woeful (possibly since deadline day?).

There’s zero benefit to playing him again. Give someone like Maguire a chance. I don’t buy all this ‘wrong time’ nonsense. It’s always going to be the wrong time for a club like ours that’s competing at either end of the table.

It's all about mentality

The mentality was one of resignation yesterday. Some of the younger players play with freedom like Osborn brings when he plays.
The balance was awful yesterday and was totally defeatist in manner
We are probably playing for pride so put in some keen raring to shine young guns to jump start the positivity.
Let's face it what can we lose now

John Lundstram's time in a Sheffield United shirt is up after performance in Southampton defeat

The wantaway midfielder produced another poor performance in yesterday's defeat and should be pulled from the team with United now staring relegation in the face
John Lundstram's recent performances have led to calls for him to be removed from the starting XI

Osborn is left footed, Ampadu is needed in defence and Bogle has been injured, so he has had little choice.
With Bogle back and Baldock playing again, he does now have a choice.

Just stick a corner flag at number 7 it would play more forward passes .

If he was a horse.. he'd have been a prittstick long long ago.

Is the contract offer still on the table like he said in a recent interview? I can't wait for him to go but suddenly thought, is there any chance nobody else wants him and he ends up signing an extension as a last resort? Just when you think things can't get any worse...

Hope they have a Roy, it'll be nice to be the ones ruining another clubs day with a transfer view from for a change. Usually it's us getting the shite that the previous club don't want.

Let's face it, if Berge was fit, Lundstram wouldn't be playing. The fact is we simply don't have the back up.

He basically played decent for half a season for us and even then, not in every game in that spell, and he scored a few in that period.
He couldn't get in the team in the Championship promotion season and the season before after Coutts got injured, we were slow and ponderous with Lundstram and Evans in midfield.

I know we have a lot of injuries, but the team that came up from League 1 would beat our current first team.

yes but thats the managers fault for not covering that area before season started

I understand individually but aside from when Berge was fit, he gets in regardless of how poor he is.

He's happy to play Bogle at LWB in front of others who are left footed so I don't buy the OCD approach that Osborn cannot play there instead of Lundstram. There are plenty of tense play 4-4-2 and the 2 central players are both right footed. Maybe a tendency to cut in more and give an additional approach through the centre wouldn't hurt anyway. We're very predictable in our approach to chance creation since Duffy left and in particular this season.

'Dreadful' - Sheffield United fans give John Lundstram verdict following Southampton horror show

John Lundstram appears destined to depart Bramall Lane this summer - but many United supporters are calling for him to be dropped now
Not many Sheffield United players came away from their defeat to Southampton with much praise.

But one player seems to have copped for more stick than the others.
John Lundstram's showing in the 2-0 loss at home to the Saints has seen him come under fire from Blades' fans.
The wantaway 27-year-old, who has refused multiple offers of a new contract, was at fault for the visitors' second yesterday afternoon.
His poor clearance, and subsequent a failure to react, allowed ex-United striker Che Adams to lash home a stunner that effectively killed the contest.
Lundstram is widely expected to head for pastures new once his current Bramall Lane deal expires

We don’t know it’s his fault. He may have had no one prepared to come who was any good and he did have Berge, so it was covered.
