22yo Oxford CB, he came from the Irish leagues not long ago but has taken League One by storm, currently in the top 10 rated players of the season, and top 3 centre backs for the league. Seems like a lad on the upwards ascendency in a position we could do with some new faces in, and still bags of time to progress. He is also 6ft 4’’ which ticks a box

Rumours Spurs are watching and have already submitted a bid. However he wont make their first team so no reason why we couldnt make an approach...except of course Oxford are going to want well over a.million for him

Seems a top suggestion, however we've got Lopata coming through and although Lopata isn't ready yet for the first team, probably won't be next season either, we've still got Egan who himself is going to be first choice at least for one if not two/three seasons so in my view we only need decent cover for Egan at present and probably won't be someone we'll spend big money on; when I say big money I mean over a million these days for us! I can't see Oxford selling him for under a million if he's done so well and is in the first year of his contract.

Seems the fee is already around the £2m mark and Spurs are very keen as mentioned above. I think he'll either go to Spurs or he'll go to a team where he'll be first choice. Maybe if Egan does go then he'll be a decent option on loan for a relative low loan fee and wages. But I'd rather us spend money on a permanent signing.
