I can see it as an offset against Cash but only that.

His contract will be significantly run down and resale value will be adversely affected.

He either figures in plans going forward, or he doesn’t. Evidence suggests not and, as such, he should be encouraged to get permanent gainful employment elsewhere.

Yeah I agree, the only way a loan would work for us is if Forest get promoted and he's such a huge part of it that they want to pay is £12m or something.

That's a huge gamble though.

Of all the players that have had a rough ride, its Luke Freeman- he was outstanding at QPR- the few cameos he's had although extremely limited, hes done nowt wrong. Looks about as eager to please as anyone can. Very decent on the ball, a bit different a bit special, of course we don't see it in training, but the lack of giving this lad a real go gives you brain freeze.
Accepted when Fleck is on it , the Blades play great but many a time Fleck is totally anonymous- ideal for Luke to have a go, but he never does get a chance?

Osborn clearly has a future with us but for whatever reason it doesn't seem like Freeman does, and if selling or loaning him to Forrest means Chris gets a player he does seemingly want in Cash then I'm all for it.

In fairness, if Nottingham Forest do land Luke Freeman on loan they'll have done very well in the transfer market - particularly if they somehow manage to hold onto at least one of Cash or Worrall.

They've brought in Jack Colback, Lyle Taylor & Tyler Blackett on frees & I think I read they're close on Jacob Murphy too (Wednesday's best player last season, on loan from Newcastle).
