The gutter press ( Sun ) stating the LF is interesting Leeds.
Can only see him being moved on if he wants a move and we have a replacement lined up, as at the moment he is in my opinion the only guy capable of getting anywhere near filling the didzy role.

Would point to Eze or another AMC coming in. Plus Osborne can play the LCM role if needs be.

I hope we keep him, he has a future with us. He played well when he started earlier in the season and his chance will come. Also I had heard rumours that his family haven't settled in the North. Someone should point out to him that Leeds is even further north than Sheffield!

Alan Nixon...... enough said. He’s already spouted so much bullshit that eventually the odd bit sticks before he proudly announces “told you so on (insert date)”
Let’s remember, this is the man who told us we were putting in a bid for Forestifairy in the summer

I’m pretty sure Freeman knows Leeds is further North than Sheffield.

He may be getting frustrated at the lack of games however, and perhaps placing his personal goals and career ahead of money.

So would I blame him for wanting to move to play? Nope.
I may be disappointed he hasn’t given it a full season to see if he can make himself a starter for next season mind.

Wilder has made some odd signings of players that come from down south. Mostly in the attacking midfielder type role.

Holmes, Carruthers and now LF appear to have been brought in with good intentions, but simply haven’t had any sort of impact at all.

Early days yet for LF, who is a talented boy. But if it’s gonna happen for him here, it’s most likely it will need to be soon, and I’m entirely unsure he will even get the opportunity to prove himself.

He’s been unlucky to be fair, in the sense that not only have Fleck and Norwood done so well, but Lundstrams come out of nowhere and been superb. Freemans done well when he’s had his chances (as has Besic who’s in the same boat), but its more a compliment to Fleck/Norwood/Lunny than a knock on them two. Would like both of them to stay (unless its part of a wheeling/dealing Wilder manoeuvre to bring in someone better) as we’re only a couple of knocks or a daft red card away from needing them.

Why do people think it’s cause he can’t settle ?
The biggest problem Luke freeman has had moving up north is John Fleck.

People who moan that players sit on the bench will be the same people who moan when a player leaves cause hes not playing

I also thought he did well when covering for Fleck, but that was August. He was poor in the cup vs Sunderland and when he came on vs Newcastle. He still got the nod ahead of Osborn at Brighton, but was rather anonymous and taken off after 53 minutes. Deadbat said he looked unhappy when he went off. He hasn't been on the pitch since and wasn't even in the squad vs Liverpool.

I don't think he's being considered in McGoldrick's role. I was expecting him to start today and it may be his last chance to impress, if a move isn't already being lined up.

Hi Bergen, do we have anyone in the squad capable of taking on the mcgoldrick role?
Possibly Ravel, bit of a free spirit and has the ability to find space and the pass.
No doubt we function so much better with didzy in the team and subsequently a like for like replacement / heir in waiting to learn the role in this window ?

Alan Nixon talks shite for a bog roll newspaper. Next.

How about Shandon Baptiste from Oxford as a possible midfield replacement:

EDIT: I thought he was left footed, but seems I was wrong. Would be a RCM for us then.

People forget how good he was the only times he got to prove himself in fair circumstances.

How Robinson's had more time on the pitch than him baffles me.

At this point he's looking like an "in case we go down" signing and I wouldn't blame him if he wanted to leave.

One of the few dissapointments this season has been the lack of time this lad has had on the pitch. It's a tough one though when Fleck has been playing so well.

We still need players who can create something from nothing however, and he is certianly one of them. I hope that he sticks it out and keeps fighting for his place, because we have seen recently that fatigue is starting to kick in, and we will need him.

Hoepfully, as we get nearer to the magical 40 points we might [might] try pushing one of the CM 3 forward more from the off, at which point Luke might get more starts.

It’s a shame because I love watching him play. Quality, classy footballer. It’s just a shame for him that Fleck has been remarkable once again this season.

I thought he was seriously unlucky to lose the shirt immediately, having covered for Fleck’s injury in the early phase of the season. He looked smart, creative, mobile, resilient.

Fleck has been outstanding since, of course, but we do need to find other ways of involving LF, much more often, if we‘re to get the most that we can out of this squad. Seeing him just as cover for Fleck may be limiting his, and the team’s, potential.

Bergen, hes coming back from a serious injury. Came through Oxfords academy and they expect to sell him at some point. Brannagan is another that can play at a higher level but I dont think either are ready for the premiership yet

Coming back from an ACL injury I see.

I'm hoping for a big performance from Ravel today, but it's not been encouraging that he's hardly played at all. Wilder's mentioned the form of our midfielders as the reason why he hasn't figured, so I don't think he sees him as an alternative in McGoldrick's position. Eze from QPR would be interesting to see in that position, although he's not exactly identical to McGoldrick.

If it was part of a deal to bring Phillips here, i'd be happy.

Can't see either happening though.

Would give Freeman a few starts ahead of lundstram for me if were playing a flat 3 we can play fleck and freeman

For the umpteenth time, Wilder is not going to start a left-footed player on the right side of midfield. He couldn’t be clearer and more consistent about this. It’s the same with the LCB & RCB positions.

Different playing a left footer in midfield than LCB

Who was going to play RCM then at the start of the season ahead of Lunny as he wasn’t the first Choice

Lundstram was first choice RCM from the start of pre season. Unless we go with a CAM like last season I can’t see freeman and fleck being on the pitch together.

It looks like we need another midfielder in Jan.

fleck/freeman Lundstram/Besic(new)
Norwood Besic(New)

I think Morrison will be off to the Netherlands with Pardew this month.
