Various reports this morning say he's been told he can go. After his last couple of reserve matches I'd agree to that to be honest.

He seems to have given up the fight he had pre season to be in the first team.

But how long was Lucky's contract? Short will be lucky to make 10 apps this season, and surely Jags can't be earmarked for a full time position at centre-half, can he?

But with Davis, Jags, Morgan, Short, Bromby all ahead of him in the pecking order, and Leigertwood capable of playing there also, he'll do well to get back in. Personally, I'd rather have him in than a few on that list.
