There is a 2016/17 feel. Like we're beginning a journey. Some young, talented footballers, some backbone and above all the spirit of togetherness that Wilder always tries to generate. The idea of the club and that we're all in it together. Probably CW's greatest strength is transmitting that spirit. And the players are responding. Sheer joy at the end. Fantastic.

Got that never say die attitude that we didn't have last season, we've had that in both of our promotion teams under CW.

Even with the poor performances against Leeds and Boro, 9 times out of 10, this team does not stop fighting to get results.

UTB!

The Chris Wilder way.

Love the team and love the style of play. We play the young kids it’s what us fans want.

Yep, been saying it for a while now.

Their togetherness and connection with the supporters is really telling.

And there is so much quality in this team. Cooper, Souttar, Burrows, Souza, Blaster and Hamer are probably the best in the league in their respective positions. The rest aren't too far behind either. We also have young talent like Peck, Seriki and now One, flourishing in the matchday squad.

If we can keep the squad together and just add a couple of quality signings in January, I am convinced we are good enough for automatic.

Reminders me of when mi nan belted up road shouting "hurry up, gippo denies her". But it was their Gary and we all stood around laughing like mad.

Down the years , two of the hallmarks of the most successful teams have been those of finding a way to get a result when not playing at their best and the never say die spirit of attitude and commitment necessary to achieve this .

Tonight’s performance was a perfect example of this and the fact that we were able to produce it with a newly assembled team consisting of players from other clubs , ones that ended last season utterly dispirited and destroyed of any confidence plus a few youngsters is of great credit to Chris Wilder and those around him who have helped with the recruitment and coaching which has resulted in this approach .

Still early days in the season but it feels like this squad have become a squad very very quickly. The celebrations last night were more than just happy for the win. It was winning as a group and that includes the fans.

We will hit issues (looks like we might be down to just Campbell as an experienced forward for a week or 2) but I think this squad will keep trying and working for each other.

Bring on Sunday.

I ageee but I do fear that the offense is not got enough for automatic. Let's hope there is more to come in that area as the players gel even more.

I'm not there yet, but it's starting to have that feel.

A bit more attacking cohesion to get us out of our seats and this could well be a team to love again, after a few years with a lack of connection.

WTF is offense?

I know that orange twat has won another election, but we don't have to use their bastardised version of OUR language.

Wages and fee might prove a problem.
Seems to be valued at £5-7m on £35-40k pw

Given how gelled he appears to the squad, and unwanted he is at LCFC this should be guaranteed to happen if we go up, and a statement of intent from new board even if we don’t, not stupid numbers for a colossus of a player

Yeah, sorry. I usually try to go with British English over American but I do not always know the differences. While I did know this one, I did not catch it when writing.

Still it is better than "offensiv" as the phone now tried to auto correct it to, in my native language. :)

We stole it last night however i was bedwetting at the performance as at times we didn't half make Brizzle look a decent side - i appreciate we will have off days but most of the game was a really heavy watch, that said 6 points from 2 away games against 2 teams who hadn't been beaten at home is very decent. at 53 years young i have told myself no more adding negative comments midway through a game as you don't half look a right dick when they go onto win. Great team spirit Roll on Sunday. i just feel our Chris wants it a lot more than Danny does ... UTB

Was always my favourite blades song But not heard us sing it for years
It caused a bit of an upset with my (now) Mrs. Years back, we'd not being going out long, we were in Cairo's and it came on, last dance time. I started singing it, she went gooey eyed, didn't realise until I finished it 'United, United' . Oops
Worked out alright in the long run!
