Loss of backroom staff

We've already lost the first team physiotherapist Ed Owen to GB boxing, working with Antony Joshua and now it seems we've lost the phsycologist to the West Indies cricket team. Hopefully the replacements are up to scratch.

Wasn't steve sylvester only with us on a temporary contract anyway? I was under the impression he was here from around February time until the end of the season I didn't realise we'd got him full time? I'm not sure on this though.

I think it's only for the two month tour. I'd be surprised if he isn't available still to SUFC. He certainly spent some time preseason with our lads. I doubt he is classed as full time back room staff. I imagine he does some group sessions and is available to individuals as required.

Sylvester has always worked with cricket in the summer months. I'm sure as said above he's still available as and when needed for us.

You mean the World T20 Champions and the team we couldn't beat in the last test series we played against them?

Underestimate the West Indies at your peril. We have a track record of doing that. Just ask Peter Moores and Ben Stokes!!

I'd assume our guy is on a scouting mission to find out how the perennial underdogs keep over-achieving!
