We don't have the money is getting a bit of a bullshit arguement that I am sick of hearing. We have spent the best part of 100million and some of this squad hasn't been improved from what it was before and that is mostly in the strike force area.

We have spent good enough money to at least have one striker that scores regularly for us.
Tbh unless you have Man City money. A proven premier striker is the hardest players to sign.

Look at Danny Ings for example, who would have thought after the couple of years he had he would score 22 goals last season.

'We played well, but...' is all very well and good against Liverpool, but it was the same against Villa, the same against Leeds, the same against Fulham.

We've got one point from six games and only one of those games was at Anfield. At some point, you've got to accept that 'we played well, but...' isn't going to cut it every week.
Credit to Wilder there was a semblance of a Plan B but we ran out of steam again around 65 mins. If ossy’s or McG’s rockets had gone in or McB could hit a barn door or if Brewster could get a kick we could have been 2/3 up. Just need to start making ‘could have games’ into ‘did do games’.

Yes we have spent but so has literally every other bugger aside from Burnley so IMO the we should be doing better because we have spent x amount doesn’t hold much water

yes we have spent big for us but reality is we have spent it largely on championship level players hoping they make the step up, now I want to be clear here, this isn’t a comment on the recruiting, just that we have to look past the amount and look at who we bought

We have spent a lot of money by our standards, and yes some of it had been wasted, Luke Freeman, Callum Robinson and to an extent McBurnie. That’s the best part of £30 million

It's anything but bullshit. We've spent 100mill on players that no other team in the prem wanted because it's all we can afford. We bid for Robinson, Fulham offer more and he goes there. We bid for Cash, we bid for Maupay, we bid for Waghorn etc. We have spent a lot in transfer fees, but the wages we are paying are less than everyone else.

We play a defensive system which would make it difficult for any striker to score regularly for us.

Very good performance. The encouraging thing is that we're now creating chances. The worrying thing is that we're still failing to convert them. We've also failed to keep a clean sheet so far this season.

As much as I'd like to get with the 'if we keep playing like that we'll be fine' thought, we won't if we continue to miss chances and concede one or two each game.

In short, we're not good enough at football at the moment and the only way we stay up is if we get better at football.

This is the first time (except for a spell of 4 games in league 1) that we have hit a consistently bad patch.

Wilder fully serves the Plaudits he has been getting since he took charge.

But it works both ways. Currently it is not good enough and he has to take that on board and take criticism when it comes.

I will watch with interest how the best manager we have had in years responds over the next 10 games.

Needs sorting and we need to find a way to getting points on the board as make no mistake this season is about survival at all costs.

You need to shoot to score goals, the quicker we realise that, then maybe the quicker we get points.
There's nothing from outside the box, and when were in it there are 5 6 7 8 defenders to try and shoot through, we all saw Didzys goal v Arse, we can do it, we've got the tools, just seems we lack bollocks and common sense!?
