Considering our current issues at RCM, and the fact we can’t loan both, If you could turn back time and select one of these to loan from Chelsea, who would you go for?

Loftus-Cheek however he's way out of our price league, so I'm more than happy with Ampadu.
There's also more chance of us signing Ampadu longer term.

He'd come in, train with us and all his ligaments would ping like overtightened guitar strings and then he'd bugger off back to Chelsea.

Ampadu would be a cracking permanent signing next summer if we stay up. Just needs to find his best position. On paper it would be RCB or CDM for me - not sure he’s physical or tall enough for Egan’s spot

Before JOC injury I'd say lotus cheek, ampadu covers three/four positions.

Ampadu is clearly the better player. He has a big future at Chelsea. RLC needs to go out to get games having fallen down the pecking order after never really recovering from injury. An injury which has hit his athleticism when he was already a player not known for being particularly attacking on the ball, meaning if you stick him at RCM you’d likely see another stationary player on the ball perhaps even less able to press off the ball than what we currently have. But sure, Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Loftus-Cheek, 25, an England international and probably on about £80,000 or Ampadu, 19 and never played in the PL. It's a touch one, but ultimately we can't afford Loftus-Cheek would be my guess. Do our some of our fans never get this! It's like wanting to buy a 5 bedroom house in Dore on a budget of £100,000.

A better comparison would be Gallagher from Chelsea or Ampadu. But Amapadu was brought into cover defence I presume, whereas Gallagher is an out and out midfielder and my guess is that Wilder didn't think Fleck and Norwood would be as bad as they have. Fleck has improved of course.

In hindsight, Loftus-Cheek would have been perfect and added a lot more to the team RCM. He'd also have removed Lundstram from the side.

We’ve just had a taste of what CWAK are up against. Just looked at a 3 bed in Dore, up for sale at £400,000 which is doable. Problem is, it’s likely to go for £460,000 minimum!
