Loans over permanent deals

I've noticed in the past year or so most deals you see are short/long term loans. Wonder why this is? (We have 5 on loan) If a player does well on loan there's a slim chance of then signing him permanent. Guessing it's down to money with clubs :oops:

Look at the players we have out on loan that all aren't good enough so why can't we sell them on...

It’s a good question. I think, in the case of a lot of those clubs we’ve loaned to, they are lower down the footballing pyramid. That probably means they don’t have the capital to pay a fee outright. If they can cover all or some of the wages though that’s good enough for me... let’s say Carruthers is on 5k per week, over a year that’s £250k saving for us.
 
It really does seem like getting a penny back on any of our unneeded players is too much to ask.

They'll just run their contracts down and leave for free. If we don't pay them to leave earlier.
