Cheers Roy, rave reviews for Long and Reed and a mixed bag for the rest eh...think Thomas will do the biz for the Shrews, not so sure on Lavery+Hanson tbh.

Good to see Reed getting good reviews. Not convinced he will make it into our first team but good to see him playing well nonetheless.

Really good to hear that about Reed. Shows you what playing games can do.

Wow, Chesterfield supporters have changed their tune haven't they? Almost as if players shouldn't ever be written off... *cough*

The change in reaction over Reed is incredible. Totally at odds with what they have been saying all season

I live near to Swindon and my cousin who is a Swindon fan tells me that Hussey had been playing really well but at present he is out injured

Cheers buddy!

On a completely unrelated note I hear that this forum now has a opening for doing View-Froms due to the incumbent receiving a loafer-related injury at a the bottom of his driveway.

Care to apply?

Cheers Panchero !
Interesting reading
Looks like at least a couple in Long and Reed could be worth more money in the end of season clear out

Mate went to see Shrewsbury on Saturday at Brizzle Rovers - verdict on Thomas was 'played well, energy and direct'.

The 'blunts' has got to be one of the most embarrassingly bad names that opposition fans use.

Up there with "Fowls" and "Weeds". Cringeworthy.

Roygbiv cheers mucker. Long and Reed will probably leave us at the end of the season but I suspect both will end up playing higher up the pyramid than some on here think they're capable of.

Good news for Reed and Long. I think the former will play at at least League 1 level and Long could easily play at the highest level. Whether he should play for us is another issue. I think there might be too much history there.

What's happened to our James wilson? Mr Roy sir

I'm not sure any of those players will ever play for united again, but none the less, it's pleasing to see good reviews for Reed, Long & Thomas.

At the very least, it improves their market value (though Long is out of contract at the end of the year) and best case scenario being that one or more of them develop and improve enough to play for the 1st team.

I'm sure Pinchy will be along soon to teach us that neither Reed nor Long will make it higher than league 2 level though ;)

He hasn't played for months. I presume it's due to injury

'Presume?'

Get your arse out there and find out the truth and stop being a lazy git sitting by a computer screen. Take an example from me for example, er.....sat by a computer screen...

Bloody do-gooder! Coming up with excuses to stop Roygbiv looking crap. 'Apple for teacher' if ever I saw one.

I bet you made it up and live nowhere near Swindon and all your cousins support Manyoo..

Fair enough i thought he went on loan, but as usual the maestro knows better

He did go on loan: to Walsall at the start of the season. We recalled him in January, released him from his contract and he joined Lincoln on a free.

When Reed went there on loan I suggested he would be their Player of the Season. Maybe he will after all. Hope so.
