Possibly. But then look at Seriki.Curtis was given a golden chance at Peterborough. They're a fantastic team to join who have a great recent record of working with and developing young players, as well as playing fast attacking football. If he can't make it there then I don't he'll make it with us.
He looks very useful now.
Prior to this he looked out of his depth vs Forest, had a wasted spell at Beerschot, a good spell at Boston but tier 6, an ok spell at Rochdale in League Two where I think they went down and where he ended up on the bench. Then he had 10 games at Rotherham, mainly as sub.
None of that suggested he’d look as bright as he does right now. But he’s obviously learned and it’s come together.
Seriki is 22. Curtis is only 18. He’s got time to build up his experience. This adversity might do him good. It’s his first taste of senior football in the UK.
