There are rumours that Redknapp has offered us a number of his fringe players on loan, sort of a 'pick what you want' deal. anybody got any views on who they would want? Me personally, Giovani Dos Santos

Seconded, he's an awesome talent for this league. Creative midfield or "second striker" could well be the missing piece of the jigsaw

Dos Santos would be a very good signing if it would happen.

i'm only offering suggestions, but it is known that redknapp has said we can have some fringe players on loan

Both Dos Santos and Rose would be awesome. Was thinking about this, if we get both this is the lineup i'd begin the season with. Imagine this as a lineup:

Bennett
Walker Kilgallon Morgan Taylor
Rose Hendrie Dos Santos Reid
Evans Lita
Bench: Bromby, Fortune, Quinn, France, Ward, Monty, Haber

Def a line up to excite that one!

why is everyone so excited about Rose? a lot better judges of a footballers ability seem to think he has potential, but he's never actually done anything, has he?

So.

Are we definetaly getting Walker back?

And does everyone think we'll sign Fortune, Lita?
That line-up was good but -hendrie, +Monty

A pal of mine is a Spurs ST holder, says local press is saying that Danny Rose is coming to us on a season loan.

Whay would you ever want to do a swap like that? I still cannot understand why Hendrie hasn't been given a chance, he is by far ou rmost creative midfielder - the main thing we have been lacking.

I admit Monty got better towarss the end of last season but he is still nowhere near Championship level.

Hendrie does deserve a run, I'd play him in the middle, he can see a pass long before most of the others in there, he put ward through last wednesday, the pass was perfectly timed, he is class but needs a few starts and keep quinn away from him, in fact keep quinn away from the first team, we can concentrate on possession then

Hendrie is defanitely our best midfielder and will guide us towards promotion if given the chance!

Our central midfield partnership should be Monty and Hendrie, simple as.

Monty breaks up the opposition play, gives the ball to Hendrie who can then develop our attack.

With the likes of Reid and Cotterill on the wing looking to get in behind the full backs, and either Ward or Evans up front, if Hendrie is used correctly we might actually get a decent display of attacking football this season.

I still think we'll end up playing long ball, though.

Ashame though because I am sure he is transfer listed.
