Oh and to get back to the OP I always liked LJF and if fit I would have him back tomorrow. Could have become a cult hero if he'd stayed fit. Wish him all the best whether it's with us or elsewhere.

Kyle Naughton was as good as we've had recently at left back despite right back being his best position. Still can't believe we sold both of the best fullbacks we've had at the same time. As a pair I would rate him and Walker as good as Badger and Hemsley.

But we expected to have Walker with us on loan for a full season. Then that nice Mr.Redknapp recalled him at the eleventh hour of the January transfer window, leaving us no time to get a replacement. Did Redknapp actually play Walker in the first team that season? I think he was just used to sit on the bench, at best.

Of course, some will say we were stupid to agree to a recall clause in the first place, but we've no idea what reassurances were given verbally behind the scenes.

This begs the question as to why Spurs felt it necessary to loan out Alan Hutton, if they didn't have cover.
