Don’t stand up, I remember getting thrown out for ‘persistent standing’ when we lost there under Warnock.

I also remember many of their fans being Irish or Scandinavian and all filming the game on iPads. Pricks

Speaking of standing - I watched the 1994 match from the Centenary Stand with some scouse mates. I stood up with them when Liverpool scored just to not draw attention from the lovable rogues sat all around me, thinking I’d be on my own in that stand in terms of allegiances.

When we equalised I realised there were quite a few (braver than me) blades in the stand who jumped up and to be fair seemed only to get abuse of the verbal kind in return.

When we scored the winner it seemed like half the stand was on its feet!

I had an issue for the same thing at that game too. Luckily its all a safe standing section now.

All ill say is you'll probably be very very very dissapointed with the atmosphere. Bit of a myth really the anfield atmosphere.

I agree entirely, incredible manager he is but would love nothing more than to somehow nick a result against him. Horrible bully when it doesn't go his way.

I was at that game in the away end but remember some jumping up in the side stand in the direction Flo was running after scoring.

Mrs Scouse is currently being magnanimous about it. Told her that they will be boosting their goal difference on Thursday, also to put Salah as triple captain and a £1 on Gomez to score his first professional goal. She keeps saying she just wants a win, whatever way, I am hoping to keep it below 10.
