I believe it is called 'humour'. The cats thing has been a running 'joke' for at least 4 or 5 years. Just because you don't get it, isn t a reason to talk down to someone.

Maybe try and get the board vibe a bit more, before going all 'headmaster' on long standing contributors?

Just a thought....
You stupid boy.

Just done a count.

115 left in the Kop
2 left on the South stand
2 left in the BLUT
33 left in the John Street stand
127 left in the corner stand

So that’s 279 tickets left, vast majority are restricted view.
The PL handbook shows our current official stadium capacity for this season is 32,125.

32,125 less 279 means we’ve sold 31,846 tickets so far.
Expecting this to get very to or break 32,000 on the day of the match.

You're presuming Liverpool have sold out 😜

Will be interesting to test our new stadium capacity.
In the 2019-20 PL handbook, our club has given the capacity as 32,125.

Not sure if 32,125 is the total number of seats in the ground or the number of seats that SAG are allowing us to sell.
Remember SAG have still stopped us from selling the front 2 rows of the BLUT, the edges of the Kop, and the area on John Street near the away end.

Saturday will easily be our biggest crowd of the season, should be over 31,500 and possibly nearer to 32K.

Interesting – our updated visitors guide for 2019/20 still has the capacity as 32,609 https://www.sufc.co.uk/siteassets/downloads/20190809_visitorguide.pdf

This was unchanged from last season, which I thought was unlikely given the reductions on the South Stand in particular. 32,125 sounds more likely.

If we stay up prices should be frozen, at the very least. Once the novelty has worn off many casual fans won't pay silly prices.

You're also assuming the club have put all available seats for sale, including first 3 rows of BLUT, bottom corner of SS H block plus some more of the restricted view tickets which only seem to become available once the previous lot have been sold. Reckon the gate will be 31.4k, our new de facto capacity.

The capacity was 32,609 in the 2007 season, not sure why we’re still giving out this old figure.

As you know since then we’ve lost 150 seats in the Bramall Lane lower tier.
Lost over 100 seats at the back of the South stand for the media but gained 100 by creating a new pitch level front row with 100 seats.

I reckon we’ve still got 32,400 physical seats in the stadium but I’m not sure if the club are just refusing to sell some of the Kop tickets at the extreme edges next to wall. Also i’ve noticed that we still aren’t selling the front 2 rows of the BLUT and an area at the edges of the BLUT on gangway A.

32.125 might now be our new official capacity but I suppose on Saturday we’ll find out what our current working capacity is taking SAG restrictions into account.

Think you could be right.. around 31.5K is probably the max days....the way we sell tickets does seem a mystery.
When ever it’s looking like a sellout, then blocks of 20 tickets seem to appear in different parts of the stadium.
Sometime these last minute tickets that are made available are front rows middle of the BLUT with the best view in the house.

The immediate issue with that is that a Liverpool fan who lives in Sheffield, or gets his mate in Sheffield to buy him one, can easily get a ticket. This also means however that I can get one for Watford as I live in a Watford postcode.

I'll be honest, when I looked on Friday I was pleasantly surprised there was availability. £70+ later I had ordered one for me and my daughter.

That’s not too bad I’m sure every match in the league will have away fans in the home ends.

But none have the daft rules to buy a ticket like us

Would be a bit embarrassing if Liverpool didn’t sell out

Assuming capacity is around 30k, If United's capacity was less at 25k or more at 35k they would still be in the situation of struggling to sell those remaining restricted view tickets. Anyone who forks out £40-45 to only be able to see half the game has more money than sense and the club wants fucking for trying it on.
There’s a point here - why aren’t RV tickets sold at a discount?
