Does anyone know if the game can be live streamed overseas? In Oz and really don't want to miss this one

Its all about the rights, you know, so that they can maximise the revenue for Sky.

I'm sitting here writing this with my other screen showing the WTS Gold Coast triathlon via triathlon live. I think i pay GBP 19.99 per year for it. The races are still shown on Eurosport (i think), some on BBC 2 or red button as well, but i also get an online stream (which i can access globally).

Yet football league won't allow live streams online...

As I have stated before, if you happen across a stream you should identify which country it is broadcasting from, book a plane, buy a house, and then subscribe to the relevant TV package in that country, just to be on the safe side.

I answered a questionnaire from the football league the other day. There were a few questions regarding streaming and how much I'd be willing to pay for it, etc, so it may be something they are starting to look into.

In Ireland Sky show a Premier League match at 3pm. Which isn't allowed in UK

Plenty of American sports do it - NBA league pass is good (when it works), can choose packages of just having access to games feat. your team, full access to all games, or your regular weekly/monthly pass.. and that's for 82 (!) games a season.. something like £70 a year that which is good value imo, it may be more for having access to stream every single game though

They're starting to look now, although fans have been able to stream illegally (with decent quality) for a number of years now. You'd have thought that they would've looked at this a number of years ago...

So all they're actually working out is how much more money they can extort from fans...
