A year ago we had a shocking display down at Bristol, how things have changed. The first half was fairly even but we had the better chances kicking against a strong wind, just when I thought we would go in 0-0 Beattie scored a wonder strike to put us in front at the break. Paddy couldn't have had an easier first half as a disappointing Bristol never mustered a worthwhile effort on goal.
The second half was all United two more very good set pieces and two more goals job done. Even then Bristol apart from a header over the bar and a McIndoe free kick never troubled Kenny. We on the other hand had three or four good chances from open play and with a bit of luck and better finishing could have got five or six. Howard looks like he will be a very good buy for us, he looks comfortable on the ball and can pass. No poor performances today and we have to be happy with a 3-0 scoreline but to me we hardly broke sweat, I think there is a lot more to come from this team, things are looking up.
