It's one thing signing players when their stocks are low, it's another when they are junk and worthless as unfortunately seems to be the case with Holtby. Not sure being dropped back into the Prem would be the best option for him at the moment - maybe a Champ or even L1 club where he could find his feet again.

Probably the reason he keeps getting teams relegated from the Premier League - doesn't like being in a league with a maximum of 25 players for too long.

Based on that he’s performed very well at times for Spurs and Fulham in the prem and still only 28. He’s a highly technical player that would suit the way we play and if wages were around 30k he’d be well worth the risk. Wilder would get the best out of him
