My point is its not down to luck or magic in getting to where we are, there was no luck yesterday.
What we have with Wilder, his staff and players, as well as above him at board level is a group pulling in the same direction, working to achieve the progression which we have seen over the last 18 months, on and off the field. By off the field i mean recruitment of players and staff, of turning this club around. Its not luck or Magic.
As we progress budgets will increase. Its not that we will win the lottery and do what Wolves, Villa, Man City et al have done... its a progressive build.
Like this season, we have seen a progressive improvement on the field, but in the most part this has been to compliment the current team and to build a deeper squad of quality. Hence having Sharp, Ched, Hanson, Lavery and Donaldson out but still being able to play 2 excellent strikers. Like losing Stearman and Freeman and bringing in Wright, CCV and Baldock.
I don't see a reason for the Prince or McCabe to even consider there to be an issue with Wilder in respect of utilising the budget wisely
