I think the Realists were subject to a hostile take over by the Sunshine gang. Any enthusiastic realists got out of that camp before the take over and took refuge in Camp Clapper. The other souls were not so lucky, they were took in by the Sunshine gang but repeatedly get ostracised for not being gloomy enough for head knockers.
