We are all over the moon tonight with the 2 great results today but lets come down to earth as we the fans and the team have got to treat Coventry as if they were second in the league and take nothing for granted.
I'm not saying Boltons fans thought this is an easy 3pts against Chessie but I bet most did, like some on here are writing Coventry off and we might be celebrating promotion on Wednesday posts, nowt we can do to influence Fleetwoods results but if we approach our own game with confidence but not we've only got to turn up to win attitude then we should avoid a Fleetwood/ Bolton situation like todays. Having said all that I don't think CW will let them rest on their laurels at all.

Whatever happens tomorrow, I'd hope the combo of their tired legs from 90/120 mins on Wembley's turf and Utd being fresh after >1 week will mean only 1 thing.

They were great times,the Cardiff game was crucial as we were neck and neck and there were only a couple of games left in that season.The ground was packed,even round to the cricket pavilion,5-1 unbelievable night,do you remember the Gil Reece volley,what a goal that was !! I remember the Watford game played in glorious sunshine,the win secured promotion....

I remember it well, the Cardiff game was a Thursday night if I remember rightly. My dad took me & we were in the top of the old cricket pavilion miles from the pitch, but a great view. The weather for the Watford game was absolutely boiling, like playing in Spain. I think Stewart Scullion played for them, & we bought him a few weeks later. I was about 8 at the time, happy days! Not sure if the old man can still remember it, but at 94 & surviving running up beach on D Day, we're just happy that he is still with us.

What a night that was 43,000 in the lane (officially) many suspect there were more than that. The kop was that packed that up top behind the goal it was hard to breathe, at half time me and the mates moved out of the mob to the side where the crush wasn't so bad.

The league position of both teams in April speaks volumes. Coventry have improved their form of late, but it's nowhere near our standard. It would have to very weird indeed, but anything other than a win is not luck or fate, it's one or other of the management/teams failing to prepare and execute and adjust their plans.

And I just don't see that happening with our manager and our team.
