Really? Adkins - against some pretty stiff competition - was one of our worst managers in recent years. Just 12 months in the job, he managed to steer us to mid-table in the third division. But it's good to look back and realise that you should learn from your mistakes. 'Football Heaven' tonight illustrates once again that this ability continues to escape the average Wednesday fan. Mark The Thick As Pig Shit Owl has been on defending Meeester Chansiri. 'It's his, yeah?, money, right? and he's got a right to put prices up. I've bought two season tickets.' Next up was an equally-moronic pig fan claiming that 'Wednesday are on a three-year project.' Will they ever learn? 'Premier League in five years.' etc? 'Are we on a transfer embargo?' The RS presenter - with patience that eludes me - pointed out that you only had to look at the clubs who haven't signed anybody to realise who was under an embargo. Others insist on calling their latest useless manager 'Jos', 'in Jos we troost' and other such bollocks. Their subservience is embarrassing. When was the last time Wednesday had a manager that we Blades were frightened about? Exactly. We've had Bassett, Warnock and now CW who have threatened their delusional belief that 'this city is ours'. They've had Carvalhal, Gray, Jones, Megson, Irvine, Laws, Sturrock, Turner, Yorath, Shreeves, Danny Wilson etc. etc.
'Meester Chansiri' is just the latest shill to have control of Wednesday, a long-established tradition that includes Dave Richards, Dave Allen, Mandaric, Lee Strafford etc. They have elevated the art of conning the gullible to an art form. Compare and contrast to some Rotherham fans who are determined to 'enjoy ourselves in The Championship'. The current spat between KMac and the Prince is a mere blip in the greater scheme of things. Hull hated the Allams, Cardiff hated their owners, but they've both been in the PL.
Wednesday know the balance of power has shifted firmly in United's favour these last two years. 'Injuries' and 'FFP' are just the latest two excuses.
Great use of the word "Shill". many likes for that. Potentially very accurate.
