The funniest comment was that we spent all money on strikers when we needed to strengthen at the back. As knee jerk as it gets following a rare defensive blunder.

Sounds like CW had a right go at the players at half time - probably said similar things to what was said in the Shoutbox. Had the desired effect though. We were far better in the 2nd half and got a deserved draw.

I find it unlikely that Wilder told Robinson he is categorically not good enough for the PL (or words to that effect).

I also find it unlikely that he told 4/5 players that they are also not good enough for PL level and that they would be dropped for the next game.

He may well have told them that they needed to believe in themselves more, get on the front foot, be braver etc. That I can believe.

Some on here (not aimed at you) are trying to move the goalposts after the event. It's fine to be critical of team performance, we all are at time and sometimes it will be deserved. What amazes me though is the people that make ridiculous knee jerk statements about a group of players making a step up to the PL, based on 45 minutes away at the Europa League winners. Baffling.
