To be fair I was right with my tactics thing before kick off talking about a change of shape will be needed to score goals which we did in the second half.

We weren't awful in the first half. The goals we let in were poor, we looked nervous at times and a bit indecisive. But in no way awful.

Awful is laying down tools under Adams and accepting relegation to league 1. Awful is David Weir. Awful is Jay McEveley. Even awfuler is Jay McEveley as captain. Awful is bombing out to Yeovil in play off semis. Awful is spreading our cheeks at home to the likes of Shrewsbury, Bury (RIP) and Scunthorpe under Adkins. Awful was those fucking geese.

This, right now, is about as far from awful as being a Blade gets.

That baffled me, as far as I could tell they played fine and certainly weren't the root cause of the goals conceded.

2 x silly defensive mistakes that can happen in any match at any time (though obviously hopefully won't be repeated for a long long time), and United being guilty of giving Chelsea far too much respect.

The latter meant that we were misplacing fairly simple passes, giving the ball away cheaply (which CW alluded to post Leicester) and not being able to get any rhythm going or any attacking impetus. First half, we played like we were scared of Chelsea.

After what I can only assume was another major bollocking being handed out at half time, they were immediately much more positive. They started asking questions from Chelsea instead of simply being negative.

Lo and behold, it transpired that Chelsea weren't the super team that some try and make out, and we dominated the game thereafter. Its a question of belief for our lads this season. Believe that you belong there, and believe that as a TEAM we are better than the opposition. And I think in the many games, we will be.

Yesterday's result was all about getting belief in the players and fans. The initial frustrating bit was that we were playing not like ourselves and were contributing to our downfall. Thankfully we had enough about us to be brave, and rescue the game. Learn the lesson lads. There is nothing to fear provided we play with intelligence. Be respectful, but do not for 1 moment be scared of the opposition. Every team (including Liverpool and Man City) can be attacked and got at.

Fortunately I didn't get to see the Shoutbox. I think some of the dumplings going over the top need to remember how far we have come in a short space of time.

I was at the match yesterday, and I certainly didn't think we deserved to be 2-0 down. We could easily have gone in at half time at 1-1, all it came down to was a couple of mistakes, one rare goalkeeping error from Dean Henderson and a miss from Callum Robinson, and ultimately it served as a bit up wake up call that if you make mistakes where you are made to pay if you make mistakes at the level, but fortunately I've seen United enough over the last three years to know that you don't write United off if they go in at half time 2-0 down because we have got a managerial genius at the helm, and this side doesn't capitulate when the going isn't good.

By the same token the players shouldn't be above criticism when the time is right. I'll be the first to admit I've been unafraid in the past to voice my criticism when it has been warranted, I've seen some genuinely awful United teams in the past, plenty of players who have been deserving of criticism, but at the minute this team should be afforded a great deal of grace because they deserve to be supported when the going gets tough but then against with a few one here, it is sadly the empty vessels that make the loudest noise

It’s funny how Wilder hits on a lot of the criticisms the fans raised over the first few games but some fans would rather bury there head in the sand. We need to get better over 90 minutes and start the games with the same confidence with the ball.

Luckily for us, CW knows the score, and I can bet you a pound to a dollar, that he will have been in their ears at half time telling all of them to get on the front foot and be positive.

Within 45 seconds of the restart, Enda had made one of his runs and gone further down the pitch than he had managed in the entire first half. That wasn't a coincidence. They had been given a collective bollocking I reckon, and deserved too.

However, they also deserve the plaudits for turning it around and going for it 2nd half. Superb 2nd half from the lads.

To say “Robinson has proved himself” after one goal and assist is just as knee-jerk as all those comments decrying his ability after ineffectual games against Leicester and Palace.

He’s a promising lad learning how to play at the top level. How he stands in this company will become apparent over much more time than a fortnight.

Robinson came in for some stick on shoutbox yesterday, I looked at his stats last night he had 4 shot's scored 1, he made 21 passes 100% accuracy. I know we won't win league and fans get frustrated but don't go slagging players off after only 4 games, personally I feel we've done well out of 3 promoted Narwich & Vanilla in bottom 3 yet we're supposed to be whipping boys. Let's face it Chelsea scored off 2 of our defensive mistakes we'll learn from that rest assured.

Sounds like CW had a right go at the players at half time - probably said similar things to what was said in the Shoutbox. Had the desired effect though. We were far better in the 2nd half and got a deserved draw.

We have conceded 5. Surely only 1 has been a proper 'near-post' goal, the one by Vardy where he was clean through, no defender on him, and thumped the ball in from close-range. If Henderson had saved that, he and the ball would have ended up in row Z

While we are all looking for something to complain about, can I ask when we are going to score a goal from outside the 6-yard box? They are not proper goals if they are from close-range.

The Vardy one was saveable. I'd like to think better goalies in the league would have done.

Abrahams 2nd he should have kept out. If a goalie gets a hand to a shot, 9 times out 10 he should save it, the one time been an absolute screamer. Abrahams shot was far from a screamer.

I imagine Wilder was more eloquent, constructive and encouraging though. Don't know about anyone else but being repeatedly told your'e bleedin useless never had the desired effect.
