I don’t think they are. There are definite signs of improvement from him which can only be a good thing. I actually fear for Villa on Saturday. :)

This is the downside of big attendances & the big gobs who never see any live games....they just parrot folk like Keith Edwards who was never the most hard working player. Just 2 % of our average attendance means 500 gobby twats spouting crap on message boards & Facebook. Focus on the 98% normal fans everyone....especialky Leon cos we normal fans love you to death. You are our Chief / Wayne Allison player ....we loved the Chief & the same 98% love you. All clubs have the same 2% dickheads ....so please ignore our numpties Leon. You are a Blade through & through now.

I agree Leon works so hard defending corners clearing off the line etc...Proper fans are saying why are our "legends " etc not giving him the credit due to him ? The true fans are getting angry at what they see as bullying Leon & are saying they won't put up with it they say it's spoiling their match day experience.

Edit: though I do quite like the idea of “All You Need is Gloves” for Leon.
 
My stance on Leon remains unchanged.

At less than 150k and after 19 goals in the Championship last year, he owes us nothing. He deserves our full support.

Just because he has a languid look to him doesn’t mean he’s lazy.

He remains an important player. His goal line clearance on Saturday prevented the game having a very different complexion.
