I was 50/50 about Leon when he came to us. He's certainly proved me and others wrong!!. He's been outstanding this last month and was instrumental last night as I've been told. I say rest him on Tuesday and put him back in for Saturday. Utb

Leon is in the form of his life. The fact he is more settled personally, a realisation this might be his last chance in the Championship coupled with CW/AN coaching has clearly paid off.

The old man's fitness levels are incredible!

He looks the fittest he’s ever been

He's changed his diet massively. No caffeine or alcohol and other changes.

Not saying it is all down to that of course, but obviously his head is right at the moment and he is in a good place.

My most improved player of 2017 and that is saying something as I thought last August he was a bang average signing. WTFDIK.

From a trustworthy mate who occassionally chats to one of our directors.

Something very positive has clearly happened as he looks a different player. He looks happy with himself and his position in the team, and at the moment his work rate is unbelievable.

In my time watching United, Cadette, Windass and Ward did a lot of running but not always to great effect. Leon at the moment is forcing mistakes and frightening the life out of keepers. Talk about defending from the front!

It would appear that one of the things that is making'Leon the legend' is that he is feeling valued for
his contributions on and off the pitch.Feeling a genuine part of something special has boosted him no end.

It's the fish & chip diet at his chippy in Clay Cross that's the secret to his new found form.
