Pains me to say it after last season but I think he’s gone.

Legs, mind, attitude all seem to be lacking. He had 2 decent performances against Wigan and Hull but I dare say he wouldn’t get in any other top half’s side in the division. He’s the most ineffective sub ever too, he just looks half arsed.

Clarke IMO has contributed more than was ever expected. He could leave with his head held high. Did a great job for us.

Problem is we’re skint and could not afford anyone better.

Gets pelters specifically when most of the players on the pitch were poor.

He won the majority of headers when the ball was put near him and at least made the defenders know he was there.

Can't see how Clarke can be picked out from that shit show. He at least gave us a presence up there.

I thought Clarke seemed to be up for it more than he has been recently today. Maybe it’s a different vantage of point or whatever but he couldn’t really do much when he came on other than be a handful. Which I think he was.

Problem is when we are going forward we don't want him winning headers. For as good or bad as anyone thinks our strikers were today, we didn't play to their strengths.

Love the way Johnson and Clarke (and even Stearman) are getting blamed when 7/11 that started were utter gash...onky Sharp and Egan were average...Duff decent and Henderson great. Fleck and Norwood need to take a long look at themselves after that showing. Proper billy big bollox type showing from the pair

I agree with those being more positive about him..thought he did ok,won headers including one defending our box...put himself about and provided a presence up front..i wouldn't have minded him on a bit earlier tbh.
