Leon Clarke > Ol McBurnie.

McBurnie has pretty much seen scraps in every game he's played. So either he's poor positionally off the ball and his runs are timed badly, or the service to him is poor.

I'm not sure what Robinson is other than ineffective. Everytime we start we have a one man attack with the above comments. He's average at best.

I don't want to hear Wilder saying how we've got to start taking our chances again in a post match interview, if he's then going to start Robinson in the next match. We fielded a £25mil strike force today and both look completely devoid and not likely to score.

I was equally annoyed that no changes were made in midfield to try to change the chances being created. A straight swap up front resulted in more of the same. Tactically poor from Wilder today to that extent. Was he playing for a draw or a win?

I'll take an away draw anyday, but I won't take much more of seeing Robinson start matches. Sorry, eight games in, I've seen nothing from him to show me that he's a Premier League striker or capable of scoring. No offence Callum, and I'm not making him a scapegoat or the new Monty.

Only one of the new forwards has looked owt like so far, and he's only been able to play in fits and starts so far. It's not really something we can address in January either, given the money we spent on strikers in the Summer.

Not a good start for the 'new Brian Deane'.

Disapppointed in his link and hold up play today. He won a lot of good defensive headers from corners which was his biggest contribution today. I think we bought him as a traditional number nine - it isn't his game based on his contribution so far.

Both have offered nothing so far, i said it a few games ago and got shot down.

Mouse, goldie and sharp are all superior and for me are the first names on the sheet. Robbo has looked marginally better than mcburnie but not too much to pick between them in honesty.

If Clarke had started the games that McBurnie has this season would he have scored more?

Maybe...

Despite all these negatives, we’ve still got the (equal) second best defensive record in the league and we’ve scored more goals than Palace - even with their frightening strike force...

But on the flip side we're in the bottom three for goals scored. We're not even averaging a goal game. We got 2 at Chelsea and 2 against Everton, so that's 3 goals scored in our other 6 matches. Even then 2 of our goals have been own goals.

Being defensively tight is all well and good but we need to win games, and to win them we need to score goals.

We don't look capable of scoring right now.

Wilder needs to address this in both team selection and formation. He can't keep saying he's getting fed us not taking games by the hilt, when he then picks the exact same players and formation and sees the exact same outcome.
