Two words.
Brendan Rodgers.

Even now, Schmeichel, who made pretty much his first mistake today in the 9 seasons that I can recall for us, is fronting up to the media taking the flack when it should be Brenda owning up for his terrible subs.

Having five first teamers injured doesn't help - Pereira, Chilwell, Ndidi, Maddison, Vardy.
But i'm not giving Rodgers that excuse.

Bit harsh, he's done great to even get you challenging for top 4.

Never seen anything like that before, we shipped 3 at Villa in 10 mins last season but that was just poor decisions the attitude was still there and we bounced back straight away. Leicester just lost all belief, unreal collapse, will they bounce back Thursday? They looked shot.
So I suppose Thursday will be a big test of their character and they really need to put in a performance and big reaction.

Were on a high, but were also not the team to play when confidence is low.

Rodgers will be fuming at basic errors, loss of composure and the centre halves reaction, despite Wilson shoving him first and pretending he’d been struck on the head.

I can’t see that makes it an easier or harder game for us. Leicester will be a tough side still and as I say.

If we put in a performance like yesterday we give ourselves a big chance

Rodgers just fronted the media too, can’t fault his comments.

Today was a catalogue of errors against a side that had nothing to lose 0-1 down at half time

I still see Leicester as one of the toughest games for us post lockdown

This squad is the 4th best in the league, it was the 3rd best before Fernandes arrived at Old Trafford.
Finishing outside the top 4 is a failure for Rodgers.

When you have the best defence in the league for 34 and a half games. (Until Rodgers makes some bizarre change at half time to a system we have never played)......
And a striker that gets 20 goals a season.
You have to finish top 4.

I think easier, going to be tough to pick them up from that collapse. If they get some of the injured players back it will help them but i'm still shocked at how they just melted. Wilder would have them training tonight if that was us.

I tough game to call on Thursday - Leicester still have frightening pace and can really hurt you. I'd still take a point right now.

There are enough slashers on here without taking on others.

Jeez pal relax, it's only little owd Sheff Utd next, you know the pub team from the Championship.

I thought his interview was a complete embarrassment.

Schmeichel came out, owned up to a mistake, fair enough. The guy hasn't made an error I can recall in 9 seasons.

Rodgers comes out, doesn't take the blame for switching system at half time even though it was complete domination. He doesn't take the blame for playing injured players, and questions the youngsters in the side 'mentality', when he's put them out their second half out of position.

No idea why you get me mixed up with other opposition fans.

I've never made a claim like that.
Nothing but continuous praise from me, especially for Wilder.

Weird inferiority complex you have.

Leicester have tended to be a different proposition at home. Owt could happen. I do know that the last team they would want to be facing in a crisis is the blades on a roll.

Agree regarding Schmeichel. It wasn’t so much a mistake than a shit kick.

You clearly watch them much more than me, I’ve Been impressed by Leicester this season, but just going on what I saw tonight I can’t agree that Rodgers was to blame for that.

The equaliser changed the game, what followed was bizarre but it was a side fighting for their lives and going for it.

They still had luck as well.

Id rather be playing a side like palace, Brighton, Everton on thurs than Leicester

Looking at the remaining fixtures, we still have a chance of Champions League if Man City`s ban is upheld.

They’re a side with character as well, tonight might be the wake up they need

Depends if Chilwell is back.
If he is, we will play Evans and Bennett.

Not fussed now though.
I'd just play the kids and hope we can avoid the Europa League.
Hopefully we can avoid qualification for it, but i'm not sure we can.
Get that little Irish fraud out, never seen a manager destroy a side like he did today.
You’ve literally been fighting for the CL all season when on paper your side has no right to and you’re on about wanting the gaffer out

Get a grip

It's a bit ironic that no?
You take offence to pundits who claim Sheffield United 'on paper' should have been relegated this season.

Leicester should have had top 4 secure before lockdown.
Only Liverpool/Man City have a better 11, and Man United are now 3rd since Fernandes has arrived.....That leaves Leicester as 3rd/4th over 38 games.

Rodgers, if he doesn't clinch 4th, will be viewed by our fans and owners as a failure.
The owners told him they expected 4th, he is not going to deliver that.

Leicester - Not a bad cheese, probably one of the last ones I'd choose to have on a cheeseboard though. If that was all that was on offer I probs wouldn't refuse if there was a nice chutney floating about.

Leicester looked fairly average from the off tonight but I'd still fear them on Thursday. Worzel Gummidge will be up for it against us. Everton on the other hand, what a spineless shambles they were today. Expect us to tonk them.

You know what the real problem is here don't you? It's not the manager, it's not having any plastic fans in the ground with them hideous clacker things.

No, it’s not ironic because I’m not calling for the managers head 🤣
